Senior Staff Engineer,Azure Data Factory

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience 6+ years.
• Strong hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF) (Pipelines, Triggers, Data Flows, Linked Services, Integration Runtime).
• Proven expertise in ETL / ELT workflows and data orchestration.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD) and data architecture principles.
• Solid programming skills in Java / J2EE with REST API integration.
• Experience in ADF performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of error handling, logging, and security (Key Vault, RBAC).
• Exposure to Spring Boot, Synapse/Databricks, Python is a plus.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain ADF pipelines, triggers, and data flows.
• Build scalable ETL / ELT solutions and reusable frameworks.
• Integrate ADF with Java APIs/microservices for data ingestion.
• Optimize pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
• Manage integration runtime and ensure smooth data connectivity.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and error handling mechanisms.
• Support production, incident resolution, and RCA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
