Job description

Pay Range:_

  • $13.00 - $15.00 / Hour

Purpose

To perform critical document imaging and indexing tasks to meet assigned metrics; to perform general mailroom support tasks as required to meet business needs.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

Accurately and efficiently perform imaging tasks with little to no supervision (training provided)

Utilize appropriate logs for all imaging tasks

Analyze paperwork to identify and extract pertinent documentation

Scan and index insurance documents, saving to file share or customer profile as required

Destroy unneeded documents as necessary to protect sensitive customer information

Log daily, weekly, and monthly progress to ensure completeness

Meet assigned key performance indicators accurately and efficiently

Maintain scanning equipment, placing service calls as required

Provide support to mailroom team as workload allows

Assist mailroom team with sorting and processing incoming and outgoing mail

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

Great interpersonal workplace attitude and adaptability to change  

Basic computer skills required, to include working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Reliable and punctual

Ability to work a flexible schedule, to include some weekends and holidays on a rotational basis 

 

Preferred Skills

Effective oral and written communications skills

Ability to troubleshoot and fix basic equipment problems

Ability to thrive in a high-paced setting, work under pressure, and meet required deadlines
