Job Title: Cloud Security Reporting Analyst

Location: – REMOTE

Mode : Contract

Rate - $38/hr on W2 & $50/hr on C2C

The ideal candidate has deep cloud security expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to clearly communicate risk and technical findings to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Wiz is required.

Key Responsibilities

Security Reporting & Analytics

• Develop and maintain scripts to extract data from cloud security tools (via APIs) and transform it into consumable datasets. • Build automated pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading using Excel, Power Query, or similar tooling. • Create dashboards and visual analytics using Power BI to present cloud security posture, risk trends, and compliance insights. • Produce recurring and ad-hoc reports that highlight vulnerabilities, remediation progress, and key risk indicators.

• Be responsible for development and delivery of:

• Monthly cloud vulnerability and security posture reports for each business unit. • Quarterly State of Cloud Security presentation decks. • Development and ongoing refinement of Cloud Security KPIs and KRIs. • Methodologies to track remediation progress and benchmark business unit performance. • Reporting on compliance framework pass/fail rates across business units.

• Effectively interpret and communicate security data to describe potential risks, their severity, and their impact on the business. • Ability to clearly explain security data and metrics to non-technical stakeholders ranging from engineers to leadership.

Tooling & Development

• Build relational models and datasets within Power BI for scalable reporting. • Explore automation and advanced analytics opportunities to enhance operational efficiency. • Operate in an Agile environment using Jira (Sprints, Epics, Stories) to manage workload and deliverables. • Work independently while effectively communicating progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or a similar cloud-focused security role. • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; and familiarity with cloud native security controls. • Deep understanding of cloud security concepts, compliance frameworks, and best practices. • Proven experience delivering cloud security posture and compliance reporting at scale. • Experience defining and implementing cloud security KPIs/KRIs. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills. • Hands-on experience with Power BI (including relational dataset modeling). • Proficiency with Excel, Power Query, and automation of data workflows. • Experience with cloud security platforms such as CSPM, CWP, CNAPP—Wiz experience required. • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS-SCS, AZ-500, or GCP PCSE.
