Ekō is looking for a Member Engagement Contractor who is fluent in written and spoken German.
This position will communicate with our German-speaking member base and help us run campaigns against corporations behaving badly. This role will motivate and involve our members in driving action for global economic justice.
This position reports to our Member Engagement Team and operates at the intersection of supporter engagement, donor relations, and fundraising. The individual in this role will primarily focus on answering all inquiries from our German-speaking members in our member-facing inboxes, ensuring that inquiries are handled promptly and professionally and that supporters receive the best possible experience. They will also assist with the implementation of our donor appreciation program.
This role will provide German-language support by editing and reviewing campaign and fundraising materials. They will also set up fundraisers and petitions in both English and German and work in ActionKit to build, proofread, and approve digital mailings.
Prior experience with ActionKit is beneficial but not mandatory, as training will be provided. Familiarity with another CRM, or general comfort with learning new technology, is preferred.
This is a remote part-time position, requiring 10-20 hours per week for an initial 6-month period, with the possibility of extension. The contract can be undertaken by anyone living between GMT+0 and GMT+3 timezones.
Please be aware that this is a temporary contracted position with a fixed term, not a salaried core staff role. If you have any questions on what this means, please reach out via jobs@eko.org prior to application.
