Roles & Responsibilities

  • Active, unrestricted RN license in CA, NY and AZ, or active licensure in at least CA or NY with willingness to obtain the other licenses
  • 5+ years of clinical nursing experience with progressive operational or leadership responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Provide operational leadership to the RN team, define processes and systems to drive scalable, compliant clinical practice; ensure staffing, scheduling, and workflow meet KPIs; develop scalable onboarding, training, and competency programs; implement plans to improve throughput and patient/provider experience
  • Develop and monitor metrics, dashboards, and workflows for quality, utilization, and performance; create SOPs and drive continuous improvement
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Care Coordination, Clinical Care Delivery) to align clinical operations with company goals and lead quality improvement initiatives, including root cause analyses
  • Deliver a portion of asynchronous nursing care as needed to understand workflows; ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; perform other duties as assigned

About the role:

We are looking for a Clinical Operations Manager (RN) to architect the systems and processes that power our registered nursing and clinical operations functions. This role combines strategic leadership, process improvement, workforce planning, building the infrastructure that drives quality,  and cross functional partnership to ensure scalable, efficient, compliant, and patient-centered delivery across our care continuum. The ideal candidate is a seasoned RN with strong operational experience, excellent cross-functional partnership skills, and a passion for improving care delivery in a high-growth health tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

 

Scalable Operational Leadership 

  • Provide operational leadership to Tia’s RN team - partnering with the current RN associate manager + clinical leads to ensure consistent, high-quality and scalable clinical practice aligned with Tia’s standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements. You will define the processes, systems and pathways to drive predictable outcomes for the RN org and other clinical operational projects and initiatives. 
  • Ensure staffing level, scheduling coverage, and workflow execution meet clinical and operational KPI's.
  • Develop and implement scalable onboarding, training and ongoing competency programs for Tia’s RN function
  • Develop and implement operational plans that scale RN functions, improve throughput, and enhance patient/provider experiences. Drive appropriate standardization to achieve results

 

Workflow Management + Performance

  • Identify key metrics and implement dashboards to monitor clinical performance, quality, utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate RN  workflows, develop SOPs, and monitor performance 
  • Monitor operational and quality dashboards and queue performance; identify trends and implement process improvements.
  • Build a culture of high ownership and high accountability through clear role design, outcomes and metrics

Cross Functional Partnership + Quality Improvement 

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Care Coordination, Clinical Care Delivery, etc) to integrate clinical operations with company goals.
  • Lead QI initiatives as appropriate across the care delivery + operations org that support Tia’s goals. This may include leading root cause analyses of clinical processes  and implementing improvement plans to ensure scalable high quality care.

Asynchronous Nursing Care + Compliance

  • This is a player coach role where a small portion of your time will be spent delivering high quality asynchronous nursing care to Tia’s patients as necessary to understand workflows and support the RN team
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted RN license in CA, NY and AZ - or active licensure in at least CA or NY and willingness to obtain the other licenses
  • 5+ years of clinical nursing experience with progressive operational or leadership responsibilities. This role requires proven operational experience managing RN, MA or care coordination teams ideally in a digital health start-up environment 
  • Proven track record managing clinical teams and operational workflows in ambulatory, telehealth, or comparable settings.
  • Strong working knowledge of clinical quality frameworks, patient safety, and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communicator with demonstrated ability to build cross-functional alignment.

Tia is committed to pay equity and pay transparency. 

Starting pay for qualified applicants will depend on a combination of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is set forth below and this range may be modified in the future.

The base salary range is $110,000-$135,000 plus a performance based bonus
