Roles & Responsibilities

  • Associate degree or related experience in editing/proofreading, direct mail, or marketing (preferred).
  • Experience with non-profit organizations and/or direct response marketing agencies (preferred; training provided).
  • Proficiency in Workfront, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat (a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment; good communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Proof copy and art for errors, including spelling, punctuation, grammar, client and brand standards, fact-checking, and print specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and leadership to meet schedule commitments.
  • Ensure data fields are produced accurately and match internal database information; review personalization proofs against client-approved art and production data files.
  • Match printed layouts and mockups to strategy and approved templates, and verify insertion samples against client-approved mockups and internal data to ensure correct components and postage.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator is responsible for utilizing understanding of direct mail production, attention to detail, and critical thinking to deliver error-free, strategic direct response marketing materials.


Responsibilities:

  • General proofing of copy and art, which includes but is not limited to:
    • Spelling
    • Punctuation
    • Grammar
    • Client and brand standards
    • Fact-checking
    • Print specifications
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders and leadership to meet schedule commitments.
  • Match printed layouts and mockups to ensure mail kits and versioning match strategy and reflect client expectations and approved templates.
  • Ensure that all necessary data fields are produced accurately and match internal database information.
  • Review personalization proofs against client-approved art and production data files to ensure accurate output.
  • Compare insertion samples to client-approved mockup and internal data system to ensure correct components are inserted and the correct postage has been used.


Qualifications:

  • An associate degree or related experience working in editing/proofreading, direct mail, or marketing is preferred.
  • Experience with non-profit organizations and/or direct response marketing agencies is preferred, but training is provided as needed.
  • Proficient in Workfront, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat is a plus.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Basic understanding of programming rules and vendor coordination is a plus.

Location: Remote, U.S. (No travel is required). 

Pay Range expected: $40,000 - $42,000 annually.

The position level and compensation for this role will be determined based on the market location, experience, job skills, and qualifications of the candidate.
