The Opportunity:

The Conflicts Researcher utilizes Intapp Open conflicts software and online research tools to generate accurate reports on the firm’s prior involvement with parties involved in potential new business. This job is remote, but must be located in Chicago. 

The Day-To-Day:

On any given day, you will:

  • Generate new business conflicts of interest reports according to department procedures, utilizing Intapp Open conflicts software and available online research tools.
  • Have a working knowledge of all department standard operating procedures and understand conflicts request workflow.
  • Understand basic conflicts of interest principles as taught by the National Conflicts Manager, Conflicts Supervisor, and Conflicts Attorneys.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in managing your assignments in relation to firm and department priorities.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze information. Demonstrate ability to compile, review, filter, synthesize, and determine logical conclusions or recommendations based on data and information which is varied in content and format.
  • Other responsibilities, as required.
You Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree, highly preferred, however if you have prior conflicts experience you may be considered.
  • Prior work experience in a legal or professional service environment preferred.
  • Experience with relational databases, such as Intapp Open, LegalKey, or CompliGuard Analyze and previous online research experience preferred.

Location Specific Language:

The salary range for this role is $57,000 to $60,000 annually, which is based on a 35 hour work week. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Chicago. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
