Job Opening: QA Specialist
Location: South Africa, Remote (Working US Hours - 9am-5pm EST) Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine audits of clinical documentation, treatment plans, session notes, and client records to ensure compliance with company policies and insurance requirements.
Monitor adherence to ABA service delivery standards and regulatory guidelines.
Review billing documentation to ensure accuracy and proper alignment with services provided.
Identify documentation errors, compliance risks, or operational gaps and communicate findings to relevant teams.
Work closely with BCBAs, scheduling teams, intake, and billing departments to resolve quality or compliance issues.
Track audit results and maintain QA reports for leadership review.
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve documentation practices and service quality.
Assist with developing and maintaining QA policies, procedures, and internal guidelines.
Support preparation for insurance audits, credentialing reviews, or regulatory inspections.
Monitor corrective action plans and ensure identified issues are resolved.
Requirements
Previous experience in ABA, behavioral health, healthcare administration, or medical QA/compliance.
Strong knowledge of ABA documentation standards and insurance requirements (preferred).
Experience auditing clinical documentation or medical records.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to identify compliance issues and recommend improvements.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Experience with systems such as Rethink, CentralReach, or other ABA practice management platforms is preferred.
Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar office tools.
