Job description
We are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to lead our engineering efforts across Dentrix Enterprise and axiUm Academic. These platforms support a wide range of customers – from large DSOs to academic dental institutions – requiring a leader who can navigate complex clinical, operational, and enterprise workflows while driving innovation and consistency across both environments.

You lead with a commitment to building high-quality, maintainable software, and bring project management and Scrum expertise to drive outcomes. You communicate clearly, set expectations effectively, and confidently partner with high-priority customers to triage and resolve escalations.
This position will be remote in the United States with the ability to travel up to 10% or hybrid in our American Fork, UT office 2–3 days per week.

The posted range for this position is $175,000 - $210,000 which is the expected starting salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
