Roles & Responsibilities

  • 2–4 years of experience in SaaS implementation, onboarding, professional services, or a customer-facing technical role
  • Experience working with configurable SaaS platforms or complex workflows
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in system configuration, automations, data mapping, and integrations or APIs (preferred)
  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

  • Lead end-to-end SaaS implementations from kickoff through go-live and handoff to Customer Success; manage scope, milestones, risks, and timelines across internal and customer teams
  • Conduct discovery to understand customer workflows, requirements, and technical environments; configure product settings, users, permissions, automations, and integrations; support data migration, testing, and validation during implementation
  • Deliver onboarding sessions and training for administrators and end users; guide customers through early adoption and rollout
  • Diagnose and resolve implementation or configuration issues; coordinate with Product and Engineering on complex technical challenges; document repeatable processes and contribute to implementation playbooks and best practices

Job description

The Implementation Specialist leads post-sale onboarding and rollout of the platform, ensuring customers successfully configure and adopt the product within their environment.

This role is technical and project-oriented, requiring strong SaaS implementation experience, the ability to translate customer workflows into product configurations, and comfort working with complex, customizable systems. The role partners closely with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Support to deliver successful deployments and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation & Project Management

  • Lead end-to-end SaaS implementations from kickoff through go-live and handoff to Customer Success.
  • Manage project scope, milestones, risks, and timelines across internal and customer teams.

Technical Discovery & Configuration

  • Conduct discovery to understand customer workflows, requirements, and technical environments.
  • Configure product settings, users, permissions, automations, and integrations to meet customer needs.
  • Support data migration, testing, and validation during implementation.

Customer Enablement

  • Deliver onboarding sessions and training for administrators and end users.
  • Guide customers through early adoption and rollout.

Troubleshooting & Optimization

  • Diagnose and resolve implementation or configuration issues.
  • Coordinate with Product and Engineering on complex technical challenges.
  • Document repeatable processes and contribute to implementation playbooks and best practices.


Requirements

Experience

  • 2–4 years of experience in SaaS implementation, onboarding, professional services, or a customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience working with configurable SaaS platforms or complex workflows.

Technical Skills

  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in:
    • System configuration
    • Automations
    • Data mapping
    • Integrations or APIs (preferred)

Professional Skills

  • Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical problem-solver comfortable working with complex implementations.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in:

  • SaaS implementation or onboarding teams
  • Technical Customer Success roles
  • Technical QA or engineering-adjacent roles
  • Software platforms serving manufacturing, construction, or operations environments

Experience with platforms such as MaintainX is a plus.



Benefits

Payment currency and method: USD via bank transfer, paid monthly + Contractor-type arrangement + Work location: 100% remote + Competitive base salary of $25,000 - $30,000 USD per year + Approximately 12 paid U.S. holidays, plus 18 additional days of paid time off + Laptop and monitor provided if needed + Internet allowance available.
