In this role, you will work closely with design, engineering, product, and leadership teams to deliver high-impact projects while managing resources, timelines, risks, and dependencies. You will also work closely with Design Leads to manage technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, project management skills, excellent interpersonal and resource management skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion. They should thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working on technical projects.
Objectives of this role
· Planning, monitoring and managing technical projects from initiation to completion.
· Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
· Collaborating with engineering, product, and stakeholder teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
· Implementing and enforcing Agile methodologies for efficient workflow.
· Fostering collaboration, communication, and problem-solving among team members and stakeholders.
· Analyzing project demands, resource availability and constraints to develop effective resource allocation plans.
· Optimizing resource utilization by identifying and resolving conflicts, bottlenecks or imbalances in resource allocation.
· Conducting regular assessments of resource performance, productivity and capacity to identify areas for improvement.
· Providing guidance and support to project teams in resource-related matters, including staffing, skill requirements and resource acquisition.
Your tasks
· Define and document project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
· Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to identify resource requirements for ongoing and upcoming projects.
· Conduct resource capacity planning to assess and manage resource demands based on project priorities and objectives.
· Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
· Track and report project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
· Communicate project updates and potential blockers to leadership and stakeholders.
· Collaborate with Design Leads to follow best practices, standards, and design guidelines.
· Utilize Agile methodologies for efficient project execution.
· Track and optimize project timelines and resource utilization.
· Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred skills and qualifications
· Technical/Associate Degree with 5-10 years experience in a related field
· 5+ years of experience in technical project management, resource management, project delivery, and/or technical leadership.
· Proficient knowledge of 3D design software (CREO) and general knowledge of 3d Design Intent Concepts
· Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
· Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and stakeholder communication skills.
· Experience with risk management, technical leadership, and quality assurance.
· High adaptability with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess resource demands and optimize resource allocation.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
· A strategic perspective, with the ability to think proactively and implement resource management strategies that align with organizational goals.
· Experience in managing remote or geographically dispersed teams.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $110,000 - $140,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
