More than 5 years of experience in an Australian accounting role with a focus on AU Tax across all forms of public practice accounting. Had worked in Australian Accounting and Tax Practice for more than 3 years. Strong knowledge and experience in completing Individual, Company, Trust, SMSF and Partnership Tax returns in the Australian context. Proficient in XERO Quickbook or Quicken software. Thorough understanding of ATO guidelines, practices, and AU Tax regulations. Experience in processing BAS’s, IAS’s, and company financials. Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be willing to work from 10 AM to 6:00 PM Australian time. Must have a secure and reliable internet connection for a work-from-home setup.

Core responsibilities:

Prepare business financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements. Manage client tax return matters from start to finish working with other Senior Accountants in the Australian office. Complete individual, company, trust, SMSF and partnership tax returns, demonstrating expertise in Australian Tax regulations. Prepare Activity Statements (BAS’s & IAS’s) in accordance with ATO guidelines. Using advance feature in excel to clean and validate and summarise the data from the client Collaborate with the team to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations.
