Job Title: VMware Engineer (VKS & VMware Cloud Foundation)
Location: Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced VMware Engineer with strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) to support enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will design, deploy, manage, and optimize hybrid cloud environments leveraging VMware Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.
Implement and administer VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) clusters.
Configure and manage vSphere, NSX-T, vSAN, and SDDC Manager.
Perform lifecycle management (LCM) of VCF workload domains.
Integrate VCF environments with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or PowerCLI.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware infrastructure performance.
Implement security best practices across compute, storage, and networking layers.
Support containerized workloads and CI/CD integration.
Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Security teams.
Provide technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
Participate in on-call support and production incident management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of VMware infrastructure experience.
2+ years of hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
Strong experience with VMware Kubernetes Service (VKS) or Tanzu.
Deep expertise in vSphere 7.x/8.x, NSX-T Data Center, and vSAN.
Experience designing hybrid cloud architectures.
Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and container orchestration.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
