Position Overview: 

BLN24 is seeking an UI/UX Developer blends user-centered design with front-end engineering to create accessible, performant, and visually compelling interfaces. This role partners closely with product managers, researchers, and developers to deliver intuitive experiences that meet WCAG standards and scale across devices. 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Translate user research, personas, and journey maps into wireframes, prototypes, and production UI. 

  • Implement responsive, component-based front-end code aligned to a design system. 

  • Ensure accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), including semantic HTML, ARIA, focus management, and color contrast. 

  • Conduct usability tests and iterate designs based on feedback and analytics. 

  • Contribute to and maintain a shared design system (tokens, components, patterns). 

  • Collaborate with developers to ensure feasibility, performance, and reusability. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • 4+ years in UI/UX and front-end development. 

  • Proficiency with Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD and modern front-end (HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript). 

  • Experience with React (preferred) or Angular/Vue; familiarity with Storybook or similar. 

  • Demonstrated accessibility expertise (WCAG 2.2, ARIA, screen readers). 

  • Strong grasp of responsive design, performance optimization, and cross-browser testing. 

  • Portfolio showcasing shipped products and design-to-code execution. 

  • Bachelor’s in HCI/Design/CS or equivalent experience.
