Roles & Responsibilities

  • 12-15 years of experience in business data analytics or related field
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into data requirements, source-to-target mappings, and business rules
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders across Programs, Wholesale, and Retail; ability to coordinate with regional offices
  • Experience with data warehousing, data ingestion/transformation, data quality, and reconciliation

Requirements:

  • Partner with PC business stakeholders across Programs, Wholesale, and Retail to understand business processes, KPIs, and reporting needs; coordinate with regional offices to finalize systems in scope and key stakeholders
  • Conduct workshops with Business and IT SMEs to validate business use cases and architectural priorities/constraints; review profiled data extracts from divisional data warehouses
  • Translate insurance business requirements into data requirements, source-to-target mappings, and business rules; support definition of insurance KPIs such as Growth %, Retention %, Mix (new vs renewal), and LOB expansion metrics
  • Work with Data Architects and Data Engineers to support data ingestion and transformation logic, cloud data warehouse/lakehouse implementation, and data quality and reconciliation; validate data accuracy during migration and post-migration phases

Job Description

  • Partner with P&C business stakeholders across Programs, Wholesale, and Retail units to understand business processes, KPIs, and reporting needs.
  • Work with regional offices to finalize systems in scope and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct workshops with Business and IT SMEs to validate business use cases and architectural priorities/constraints.
  • Review profiled data extracts from divisional data warehouses.
  • Understand data sources across divisions and finalize definitions for:
    • Target KPIs
    • Data dimensions
    • Product lines
    • Premium
    • Organizational hierarchy
    • Reporting time periods (Annual, Semi-Annual, YTD, Rolling 12 Months)
  • Translate insurance business requirements into data requirements, source-to-target mappings, and business rules.
  • Support definition of insurance KPIs such as Growth %, Retention %, Mix (new vs renewal), and LOB expansion metrics.
  • Work closely with Data Architects and Data Engineers to support:
    • Data ingestion and transformation logic
    • Cloud data warehouse / lakehouse implementation
    • Data quality and reconciliation efforts
  • Validate data accuracy and business logic during migration and post-migration phases.
  • Perform data profiling, gap analysis, and remediation for legacy systems.
  • Collaborate with BI teams to ensure semantic consistency in dashboards and reports.
  • Support UAT, parallel runs, and go-live activities.
