Position Overview: BLN24 is seeking a Cyber Training Specialist to join our team. The Cyber Training Specialist designs and delivers cybersecurity awareness and role-based training aligned to organizational risk, compliance obligations, and industry frameworks. The role builds engaging curricula, labs, and campaigns that measurably reduce human risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop training content mapped to frameworks (e.g., NIST/NICE) and organizational policies.
Deliver blended learning (eLearning, instructor-led, microlearning) and hands-on labs/simulations.
Run phishing simulations and awareness campaigns; analyze results and drive improvements.
Maintain training roadmaps for technical and non-technical audiences; update content for emerging threats.
Track compliance (e.g., annual training, role-based training) and report training effectiveness metrics.
Partner with security operations, GRC, and HR to align training with incidents and risk areas.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
4+ years in cybersecurity education, awareness, or technical training.
Knowledge of core security domains (threats, phishing, identity, endpoint, cloud, data protection).
Experience with LMS delivery, SCORM/xAPI content, and phishing platforms.
Strong instructional design, facilitation, and communication skills.
Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CISSP, SSCP, or SANS/GWAPT/GSEC). Exposure to Keycloak or similar IAM tools, including support for external users and multi-factor authentication
Ability to work effectively in an Agile team environment, delivering high-quality, maintainable code under tight timelines US. Citizenship Required
