OVERVIEW 
Full-time/Permanent Employee  
Location: Hybrid Remote-Hanscom AFB, MA 
 
As a  Cloud Application Tester II, you will perform activities related to cloud systems verification and validation, including functional testing, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies for hardware and software specifications.  These activities support the assessment and validation of system capabilities to ensure alignment with program requirements and operational objectives. 
 
Utilizes trends, metrics, and analytical insights to identify opportunities for improvement within existing testing frameworks, tools, and processes, helping enhance efficiency, reliability, and overall system performance.  Works collaboratively with engineering, development, and program teams to support testing activities across the system lifecycle. 
 
Responsible for identifying, analyzing, and resolving system functionality, performance, and configuration issues, ensuring systems operate as intended across cloud and hybrid environments. Contributes to continuous improvement efforts by supporting test planning, execution, and evaluation activities while helping maintain compliance with applicable standards and program requirements. 
 
The proposed salary range for this position is  $95,000-$115,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, implement, and execute testing plans, methods, and equipment to ensure product reliability and compliance with specifications 
  • Plan and coordinate testing schedules, labor, and resources for evaluating standard and specialized devices 
  • Conduct functional, regression, and deployment testing while troubleshooting issues and providing recommendations for resolution 
  • Consult with development and requirements teams to ensure applications and systems are tested effectively 
  • Analyze, diagnose, and evaluate products to identify performance issues and areas for improvement 
  • Establish test parameters, specify tests to be performed, and ensure testing procedures align with industry standards 
  • Compile test data, document test results, and define necessary changes in testing procedures or manufacturing processes 
  • Track and report test metrics, ensuring continuous improvement of testing methodologies 
  • Monitor test processes for optimization opportunities, including failure analysis, throughput analysis, and yield analysis 
  • Provide technical support to operational strategies aligned within your program and initiatives that optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality across all program functions 
  • Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded 
  • Identify and forward to your leadership any opportunities that could lead to growth within your work area 
  • Participate in growth efforts as requested 
  • Ensure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer's satisfaction 
  • Complete personal PDP and attend Staff Meeting and Storytime (with camera on) 
  • Within your program, build productive and positive professional relationships with clients 
  • Execute all contract requirements as assigned in accordance with the contract-specific LCAT and requirements 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned 

  • KEY QUALIFICATIONS
  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance 
  • Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience in systems testing, verification and validation, or test engineering. 
  •  
  • Experience with designing and executing test plans, scripts, and scenarios 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose system issues 
  • Knowledge of test automation tools and methodologies for improving efficiency 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment 
  • DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification  
  • At least one cloud certification 

  • PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with software testing frameworks and automated testing tools 
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, including continuous integration and deployment practices 
  • Understanding of quality assurance principles and best practices in system testing 
  • Strong technical documentation skills for reporting test results and identifying process improvements 
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and rapidly changing testing environments
