Roles & Responsibilities

  • 7-10+ years of progressive RCM leadership in Long Term Care with direct portfolio-level responsibility for billing operations across SNF and AL settings
  • 5+ years of hands-on billing experience in collections, denial management, census management, and payer contracting to inform product and GTM decisions
  • Proven track record of improving key RCM metrics (AR aging, net collection rate, DSO, denial rate, and payer mix optimization)
  • Deep knowledge of Medicare Part A and Part B, Medicaid, managed care, and private-pay billing processes for LTC, with familiarity of CMS rate updates and MDS/PDPM policy shifts

Requirements:

  • Own the Financial Solutions business end-to-end, including P&L, strategy, budgeting, and delivering measurable financial outcomes for operators, with full accountability to the President and CEO
  • Serve as the primary product champion and sales partner—leading demos, discovery calls, pricing/packaging/positioning, and developing sales enablement materials grounded in LTC billing outcomes
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives by influencing product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success; translate operator workflows into configurable software features and establish clear priorities and governance
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for SNF and AL operators, build and mentor a high-performing team, and engage with customers and industry events to validate roadmap and accelerate growth

Residex is building the next generation of Revenue Cycle Management software purpose-built for Skilled Nursing Facilities and Assisted Living communities. We’re looking for a General Manager who has lived and breathed LTC billing—someone who has personally managed AR aging, fought denials, navigated Medicaid state plan amendments, and optimized payer mix across a portfolio of facilities. You’ll bring that hard-won expertise to the GM seat, where you’ll own the Financial Solutions business end-to-end: shaping product strategy, championing the solution alongside sales, partnering cross-functionally, and delivering measurable financial outcomes for operators.


This isn’t a role for someone who managed RCM from a distance. We need a leader whose credibility comes from doing the work—and who now wants to channel that experience into building software that transforms how LTC providers manage their revenue cycle.


Revenue Cycle Management Expertise

Your deep, hands-on RCM experience is the foundation of everything you’ll do in this role.

  • Leverage 7–10+ years of progressive RCM leadership in Long Term Care, including direct portfolio-level responsibility for billing operations across SNF and AL settings
  • Draw on 5+ years of hands-on billing experience—collections, denial management, census management, and payer contracting—to inform every product and go-to-market decision
  • Bring demonstrated success improving key RCM metrics: AR aging, net collection rate, DSO, denial rate, and payer mix optimization
  • Apply deep knowledge of Medicare Part A and B, Medicaid, managed care, and private pay billing processes specific to SNF and AL environments
  • Stay current on regulatory changes including CMS rate updates, MDS/PDPM policy shifts, and Medicaid state plan amendments that affect reimbursement
  • Translate real-world billing complexity—payor requirements, operator pain points, facility-level workflows—into clear product requirements and software decisions


Product Champion & Sales Partner

You are the voice of the product in every sales conversation and the voice of the customer in every product decision.

  • Serve as the primary product champion for Financial Solutions, bringing credibility and conviction to sales engagements with facility administrators, business office managers, and management company executives
  • Partner directly with the sales team on strategic deals—joining demos, leading discovery calls, and providing RCM expertise that builds buyer confidence and accelerates close cycles
  • Build sales enablement materials grounded in real LTC billing outcomes, operator workflows, and proven RCM results that resonate with prospects
  • Design pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies that align with how operators evaluate and buy RCM solutions
  • Represent Residex at LTC industry events, AHCA/NCAL conferences, and regional provider forums as a trusted subject-matter expert
  • Conduct competitive analysis of RCM service offerings and software tools across the SNF and AL landscape to sharpen positioning and identify whitespace


Cross-Functional Leadership

You lead through influence, connecting product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success around shared outcomes.

  • Build strong working relationships across legal, finance, product, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success to drive consistent execution
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to translate operator workflows and billing complexity into configurable, high-performing software features
  • Establish clear priorities, decision-making frameworks, and communication rhythms that keep cross-functional initiatives moving
  • Engage directly with customers and prospects to inform product strategy and validate roadmap decisions
  • Lead through influence without direct authority, building consensus where possible and driving results across functions


Business Ownership

You own the Financial Solutions business—full P&L accountability, strategy, and results.

  • Own and manage the complete P&L including revenue targets, margins, operating expenses, and profitability with full accountability to the President and CEO
  • Set and achieve annual and quarterly business goals, establishing KPIs and optimizing resource allocation to hit targets
  • Build and manage operating budgets across product development, sales, implementation, and customer success
  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the RCM software suite in deep alignment with market needs and operator realities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies targeting SNF and AL operators and ownership groups seeking to modernize their revenue cycle operations
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team as the business scales


Who You Are

  • Data-driven decision maker with strong strategic thinking, business modeling, and financial analysis capabilities
  • Operationally fluent in LTC billing workflows with the ability to translate facility-level complexity into software requirements
  • Familiar with LTC-specific billing platforms and RCM tools (e.g., PointClickCare, MatrixCare, Waystar, or similar)
  • Intrinsically motivated to build software that meaningfully improves the financial health of LTC facilities—and understands that better billing outcomes translate directly into better care
  • Competitive, with a drive to build the best RCM software in LTC informed by real operator experience
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments with a bias for action and high standards for execution
