Assistant Property Manager

Join a dynamic and fast-paced property management company that specializes in court-appointed receivership properties. In this vital role, you’ll be the backbone of smooth property transitions and operations during interim management. If you're experienced in tenant relations and thrive in high-impact environments, this position offers long-term stability, meaningful work, and clear opportunities for growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in onboarding newly assigned properties by inputting data into Rent Manager and sending introductory communications to tenants.
  • Manage tenant communication professionally via phone and email, including lease follow-ups, service requests, and general inquiries.
  • Enter rent rolls, lease renewals, and maintenance-related notes accurately into Rent Manager.
  • Coordinate with building supers to facilitate unit and boiler access, manage invoice receipts, and support payment processing.
  • Populate lease templates with rent details, scheduled increases, and relevant regulatory codes; ensure timely delivery to tenants.
  • Track pending tenant responses, maintain system updates, and deliver accurate reporting for internal use and court submissions.

Who You'll Work With:

You’ll collaborate closely with a knowledgeable property management team dedicated to managing court-appointed properties with precision and care. You'll receive structured, step-by-step training through screen sharing and direct support, with the goal of building long-term independence and confidence in your role.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Must have multifamily property management experience, especially with tenant-facing tasks like lease renewals and issue resolution. Lease drafting experience is also expected.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with Rent Manager is preferred, but not required.
  • Highly Organized: Strong ability to manage multiple onboarding and lease tasks with accuracy.
  • Detail-Oriented: Skilled at data entry, lease documentation, and following up on pending actions.
  • Clear Communicator: Fluent, professional communicator for tenant-facing conversations.
  • Self-Sufficient: Someone who asks questions when unsure and doesn’t require repeated instruction.
  • Strong Work Ethic: Eager to grow, open to learning, and able to accept constructive — even blunt — feedback without defensiveness.

Why Join Us?

  • Impact: Make a meaningful difference during critical transition periods for properties, helping ensure smooth operations and tenant communication.
  • Culture: Join a highly responsive, growth-minded team focused on structured support and professional development.
  • Benefits:
    • Enjoy preset salary growth and weekly salary payments.
    • 100% work-from-home flexibility.

Work Details:

  • Schedule: Mon - Fri 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM EST (flexible within reason)
