Job description

The Funding Analyst is responsible for auditing documents across diversified programs, with the goal of onboarding a compliant document package for funding release, and for taking incoming and making outgoing calls from our dealers.

Essential Functions

  • Using origination software to track, note, and log document lifecycle prior to onboarding

  • Review loan documents for errors/omissions based on an audit checklist provided by management

  • Determine if app file is ready for onboarding by validating all document requirements and stipulations have been met and satisfied

  • Control the flow of documents through the lifecycle of the loan using workflow management software

  • Provide positive dealer experience through email and phone correspondence by answering questions and training as necessary

  • Organize daily workload to ensure completion of tasks by appropriate deadlines (ex: set daily funding time cut offs, incoming volume, turnaround time deadlines, etc.)

  • Collaborate cross-departmentally, answering questions, and ensuring process flow efficiencies

  • Assigned Imaging duties

  • Daily/weekly funding reports

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • 2 years of Customer Service, or related work experience, required

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) candidate beneficial

  • Ability to maintain less than 5% error ratio for three (3) months required

  • Ability to maintain 100% average productivity for three (3) months required

  • Financial industry experience preferred

  • Attention to detail and accuracy required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

  • Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, visualize, talk, hear, and handle or touch objects or controls. The employee may occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.

This position is an office-based position where you must be able to sit for long periods of time. The employee will be working on a computer 90% of the time.
