Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on elevator/escalator equipment
  • Proficiency diagnosing and repairing faults autonomously using diagnostic tools (e.g., OFT / OUTIL TEST)
  • Strong commitment to safety with strict adherence to PPE requirements (harness, respirator, gloves, safety shoes, head protection)
  • Ability to plan and optimize field activities to meet KPIs and deliver high-quality customer service

Requirements:

  • Conduct periodic inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure proper operation of equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults (curative maintenance), including complex or intermittent issues, using appropriate diagnostic tools
  • Plan and optimize daily field visits to meet KPIs; perform simple tasks or assist with complex tasks (e.g., door element replacement, motor repair, traction cable changes) while ensuring safety compliance
  • Propose improvements, communicate interventions to customers, manage spare parts requests, and alert supervisor to abnormal or risky situations; support training of team members

Le Technicien s’engage à accomplir les tâches suivantes dans le cadre de sa mission principale :

  •  Effectuer les visites périodiques et de contrôle des appareils de son parc, conformément aux normes en vigueur, pour garantir leur bon fonctionnement (maintenance préventive).
  •  Intervenir en cas de panne signalée pour effectuer un diagnostic et des réparations efficaces (maintenance curative).
  •  Assurer l’entretien régulier et veiller au respect strict des règles de sécurité d’Otis pour l’ascenseur et escalateur, notamment en portant les Équipements de Protection Individuelle (EPI) requis, tels que le harnais antichute, le masque respiratoire, les gants, les chaussures de sécurité, et les protections de la tête.

 

Fonctions principales

 

Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, le Technicien s’engage à :

      •     Réaliser son plan d’activité mensuel en atteignant les objectifs fixés et conformes aux indicateurs de performance (KPIs).

      •     Optimiser ses tournées journalières de visites et de contrôles sur le terrain.

      •     Exécuter des travaux simples ou assister un autre technicien sur des tâches complexes, comme le remplacement d’éléments de porte cabine ou la réparation de moteur ou changement et raccourcissement des câbles de tractions.

      •     Proposer et signaler des modifications ou améliorations pour améliorer la performance des unités.

      •     Argumenter et proposer des actions auprès des clients tout en expliquant les interventions effectuées.

      •     Réaliser des tâches techniques spécifiques, comme le re-paramétrage des fonctions simples d’un contrôleur ou l’installation de manœuvres spéciales (type FPD, EFO, LR …).

      •     Diagnostiquer, résoudre des pannes intermittentes ou complexes en autonomie, tout en utilisant les outils de dépannage appropriés (type OFT / OUTIL TEST).

      •     Demander les pièces détachées nécessaires et identifier les composants essentiels des appareils.

      •     Adapter du matériel non standard pour des interventions spécifiques et diversifiées.

 

Responsabilités complémentaires

En complément, le Technicien devra :

      •     Former et conseiller d’autres membres de l’équipe en partageant son expertise technique et comportementale.

          •     Assister le superviseur dans des missions annexes (ex. : 5S du local technique, digitalisation).

      •     Utiliser efficacement les ressources et les outils de l’entreprise (Otis zone) ou des autres applications pour améliorer la satisfaction client.

      •     Identifier les différentes technologies des appareils, qu’ils soient Otis ou non Otis, et intervenir de manière appropriée.

      •     Alerter le superviseur sur toute situation anormale ou à risque détectée lors des intervention (SWA).
