Middle/Senior React & Electron Developer

The primary focus of this role is to enhance the functionality of an AI-powered co-pilot for game development. Responsibilities include refining UI/UX, providing architectural guidance, streamlining the release workflow across macOS and Windows, and performing deep performance optimizations within a complex multi-process environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in Electron & React development.

• Electron Mastery: Deep knowledge of IPC, process lifecycles, and contextBridge security.

• React 18 & TypeScript: Advanced state management (Jotai, Zustand, or similar) and modern frontend tooling (Vite).

• Complex Bundling: Proven experience with electron-builder, specifically bundling external runtimes (Python, .NET) and platform-specific binaries.

• Native Interop: Familiarity with Python/FastAPI backends and communication protocols (ZeroMQ, IPC File Bus, WebSockets).

Nice to have:

• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol), LangGraph, or AI Agentic workflows.

• Familiarity with macOS notarization and Windows code signing requirements.

What the role is about:

• Functional expansion of the core desktop application.

• Polishing UI/UX to ensure a seamless developer experience (React/Tailwind).

• Architecural consulting on desktop-to-backend integration patterns.

• Release management: maintaining build pipelines and ensuring stable updates.

• Performance optimization: refactoring IPC communication and resource management.
