WHAT YOU’LL DO

 

As a Training Specialist, you will develop, implement, and manage training sessions, along with end-user product manuals, demonstrations, and solution-based seminars. This position focuses on enhancing customer product knowledge, generating new opportunities by supporting the Sales team in the role of educational training, and strengthening customer relationships surrounding AVI-SPL’s line of products and software.

 

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

 

  • Schedule and conduct trainings with customers
  • Interact with customers and AVI-SPL staff daily 
  • Effectively develop and present new training courses & material
  • Develop training manuals, user guides and closeout documents
  • Conduct product demonstrations for key customers
  • Support sales team and office locations to increase training opportunity of AVI-SPL’s entire line of products and software
  • Work with internal departments to offer assistance when necessary to ensure AVI-SPL’s success    
  • Represent AVI-SPL with integrity and professionalism
  • Significant local travel involved
  • Perform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

Must-Haves:

 

  • 2-4 years’ experience in teaching, curriculum development and audiovisual technologies
  • Familiarity with audiovisual technologies and willingness to learn new systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to switch tasks while adapting to changing priorities
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented team player
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment/materials (up to 35 pounds)
  • Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards

 

Nice-To-Haves:

 

  • Prior experience in customer-facing training roles within the AV or tech industry
  • Experience developing both live and virtual training programs
  • Knowledge of AVI-SPL’s product lines or similar AV systems
  • Familiarity with webinar platforms and remote training tools
  • Comfort presenting to both small and large groups
