Project: Rating Engine Replacement – Quote Hub

Objective
The project aims to build a Quote Hub that will take over the core business logic, while the current solution will remain responsible only for ratings and rules management.

Status and Scope
The team is currently completing Phase 1 (Actuarial System) and preparing to move into Phase 2, which involves complex mapping between the Earnix engine and the Merlin / Acturis system, based on a canonical data model.

Challenges
The mapping process in this phase is considered heavy-duty and is expected to take several months. Previous stages were affected by limited documentation of scenarios beyond the happy path, which makes thorough analysis and structured requirement definition especially important.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Integration Analyst with experience in rating, pricing, or calculation engines, who will support the current Systems Analyst in defining requirements, analyzing integration flows, and leading the mapping process between systems.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Technical Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Integration Analyst.

• Experience working with rating, pricing, or calculation engines, preferably in the insurance domain.

• Experience with system integrations and complex data mapping.

• Strong ability to analyze business logic and translate it into technical requirements.

• Fluent English (required).

• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.

Extra Points

• Experience with Earnix, Acturis, Merlin, or similar insurance platforms.

• Experience working with canonical data models and complex integration architectures.

• Strong documentation and analytical skills.

• Personal projects that demonstrate initiative and technical curiosity.

Remuneration

Compensation in US dollars as a contractor.

This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere.
