Role: Salesforce CPQ Developer
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 6 Months (with a Possibility of contract to hire)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote - Candidates can work from anywhere in India (Preference to Bangalore or Gurugram)

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce CPQ Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency and accuracy in our quoting and pricing processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growth. This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The position should have the ability to work on individual pieces of work and solve problems including the design of the program flow of individual pieces of code, effective coding, and unit testing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience, 2+ years in Salesforce CPQ administration and development
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

· Proficiency in Salesforce CPQ configuration and customization
· Strong understanding of pricing strategies and discount structures
· Experience with product catalog setup, including bundling and configuration
· Previous experience working with a global, enterprise Salesforce implementation including Sales, Marketing and/or Service Clouds
· Demonstrated experience with the Salesforce platform and integrations including, but not limited to CPQ, Pardot, ETM, Einstein Analytics, etc.
· Participation in refactoring existing development to improve underlying foundation
· Ability to map business and functional requirements to Salesforce out of box features and functionality
· Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration and customization, data loader
· Strong knowledge of Salesforce workflows including triggers, SOQL and SOSL
· Strong knowledge of data sharing rules and functionality
· Familiarity with Apex, and Lightning with Aura and Lightning with web components
· Familiarity with Copado CI/CD or other CI/CD tools
· Expertise in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net
· Strong research skills
· Strong knowledge in industry best practices in development
· Ability to work well with internal and external technology resources
· Knowledge of automation tools such as Copado CRT, Jenkins, Selenium, Neoload and/or other automation tools is a plus
· Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of complex system components
· Ability to complete complex bug fixes
· Good oral and written communications skills
· Knowledge and understanding of Siebel a plus

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ to meet business requirements
· Develop and maintain price books, product rules and discount schedules
· Collaborate with sales, product management and finance teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing
· Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ-related issues and provide ongoing support
· Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements
· Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity
· Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs
· Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
· Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders
· Resolve technical issues as necessary
· Keep abreast of new technology developments
· Complete bug fixes
· All other duties as assigned
