ABOUT THE POSITION: 

As a Customer Service Specialist, you’ll serve as the voice of Gathr– working as a problem solver for our customers. This is a high-energy, fast-paced role with unlimited opportunity to learn, grow and work with a talented and supportive team. If you like helping others and feel rewarded by making someone’s day a little better, this is the role for you. The ability to empathize, stay calm and not take customer frustration personally are traits that are especially successful in this role. This position will report directly to the Customer Service Manager. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive and handle customer inquiries and complaints 
  • Communicate with customers by email, phone, and chat 
  • Communicate with production, sales, or warehouse personnel to expedite and track shipments  
  • Review order status and correct order errors 
  • Provide timely feedback regarding system needs, process improvements, website issues and customer concerns 
  • Meet individual and team customer-focused goals 
  • Additional tasks as needed 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 2-4  years customer service experience 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrated successful customer service and interpersonal skills 
  • High level of initiative and problem-solving skills   

SKILLS/PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change, demonstrates learning agility with desire to grow and develop 
  • Leverages creative thinking, problem solves and generates successful solutions through strategic agility 
  • Ability to build credible, effective relationships with stakeholders and hiring managers 
  • Team player with a growth, development and challenge accepted mindset 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Analytical with reporting fundamentals and quality decision making skills 
  • Excellent customer focus with professional presence 
  • Self-directed, motivated and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and projects 
  • Proficient in using technology, Microsoft 365 strongly preferred 

 

Physical Requirements:  

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets, meeting rooms, copier/printer, etc. as well as have the ability to remain in a stationary position most of the time.   
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with employees through multiple forms of technology with telephone and computer.   Must be able to receive and convey information.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Works in an office environment and at able to work from home.
