Apprentice - Financial Systems

Job Overview:

The Apprentice will support the Finance and Corporate Systems team in delivering technology‑driven solutions across the organization. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technology, ensuring solutions are effective, user‑focused, and aligned with organizational priorities. The program offers hands‑on exposure to modern workplace technologies, cloud computing, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and agile delivery practices. The Apprentice will contribute to key IT initiatives while gaining practical experience in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Participate in the transformation of user experience technologies within the modern workplace.

• Assist in front-end development tasks and collaborate with the Finance and Corporate Systems team.

• Engage in technical project management and agile delivery practices.

• Learn and apply industry-standard tools and methodologies in real-world scenarios.

• Manage all other duties as needed or assigned, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Finance or Economics.

• Demonstrated interest or experience in AI/ML, software tools, or IT infrastructure.

• Up-to-date knowledge of current industry standards and trending technologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

• Remote-based role, 5 days per week, as requested by the line manager.

• 1-year fixed-term contract.
