Requirements:

  • Represent Cytiva as the primary customer contact for allocated Genomic Medicine accounts in the territory (Spain and Portugal), expanding business, gaining market share, and achieving annual/quarterly targets through promotion of Cytiva technologies and capabilities.
  • Provide technical support aligned with customer workflows, leveraging technical specialists as needed to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Prospect, forecast, generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer visits, and negotiate master agreements and contracts (including terms and conditions), in conjunction with product sales specialists as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Cytiva's value proposition and a high-level knowledge of competitive products, ensuring accountability for overall account success and growth with the Cytiva account team.

The GenMed Account Manager is responsible for building and nurturing trusted customer relationships, ensuring clients achieve measurable value while identifying new opportunities for growth. By aligning customer needs with strategic solutions, they drive revenue, strengthen longterm partnerships, and directly contribute to the organization’s overall business performance.

This position reports to the AM Zone Leader South&Central EMEA and is part of the Genomic Medicine and will be working remotely to cover Spain and Portugal.   

 

What you will do: 

  • Represent Cytiva and act as a primary customer point of contact in all allocated accounts and in the territory for specific Genomic Medicine segment.​  

  • Expand the business, gain market share, and grow sales & order at expected margins. Achieve annual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of all business technologies and capabilities within all modalities which are relevant to this account.​  

  • Provide technical support, leveraging technical specialists where needed, aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop, and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers’ expectations. 

  • Identify opportunities and support team in developing opportunities.  

  • Develop and maintain a full understanding of the Cytiva value proposition and a high-level knowledge of competitive products and services.​ 

  • Prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, initiating, and planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization. 

  • Negotiating master agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions as well as facilitating tender responses to customers from the account, in conjunction with product sales specialists as needed​. 

  • Accountable for overall account success, and growth, leveraging Cytiva customer account team.  

 

Who you are:  

  • Education: bachelor degree in life science or biotech 

  • 3-5 years of commercial experience in life science 

  • Fluent in English  

  • Expert in Sales technique including cross selling, upselling, value positions, solution selling and funnel management.  

 

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements 

  • Ability to travel – minimum 50 % travel, overnight, within territory or locations 

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record 

 

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

  • Sales Force 

  • Territories sales planning

  • Business market knowledge.
