Job description

🚀 We’re Hiring: Test Analyst 100% Remote

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Test Analyst to join our team. The role focuses on ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our core business applications and systems. You should have a solid IT background, strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and software testing lifecycle, and experience applying comprehensive testing strategies for enterprise systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

👷‍♂️ What You’ll Be Doing

Test Planning & Design: Work closely with business analysts and developers to define comprehensive test plans and design test cases for system implementations and upgrades.
Test Execution & Reporting: Execute test cases across various testing phases (System, Integration, Regression, UAT). Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution. Provide clear, concise, and timely progress reports.
Enterprise Application Testing: Conduct in-depth testing of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and related business processes.
Interface & Data Testing: Validate data exchange and message integrity by testing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) transactions and API (Application Programming Interface) endpoints.
Data Validation: Utilize SQL to query databases, validate data integrity, and perform backend testing.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, efficiency, and coverage.

✅ What We’re Looking For

At least 3 years experience on software testing
Must have ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) Foundation Level certification or higher
In-depth understanding of system, regression, and integration testing methodologies.
Demonstrated capability in testing and validating large-scale ERP systems and EDI integrations/message formats.
Hands-on experience in API testing.
Skilled in writing and executing SQL queries.

Nice to Have

Practical experience planning, conducting, and interpreting results from performance testing (including load, stress, and volume testing).
Experience developing and maintaining test automation scripts, particularly using Java.
