Job description

Job Overview
One of our clients is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Virtual Assistant with experience in medical billing to support day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of administrative experience, be teachable, able to follow instructions and feedback, and work independently once trained.

This role combines general administrative tasks with medical billing responsibilities, making it ideal for candidates with prior exposure to healthcare billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calendar management and scheduling

  • Data entry and maintaining accurate records

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls professionally (using ABBAX or similar systems)

  • Email correspondence with clients and internal teams

  • Supporting medical billing tasks (insurance verification, claims processing, or entering billing details)

  • General administrative support tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant

  • Experience working in administrative support roles; experience with medical billing is required

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar)

  • Strong written and spoken English (emails, calls, documentation)

  • Ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, and apply corrections

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience supporting healthcare or medical billing companies

  • Familiarity with Medisoft or similar medical billing tools

  • Customer service or call-handling experience

  • Attention to detail and confidentiality awareness

  • Prior experience in medical billing
