Job Description:

Responsible for providing comprehensive analytical support to the 340B Pharmacy Team and 340B Covered Entities. This position ensures updated and timely data for auditing and decision-making purposes. Additionally, this role reviews data for accuracy and anomalies, keeps data updated, and monitors workflow to ensure data accuracy and integrity. In addition, this position displays technical competency working from various data sources and summarizes data succinctly for decision making. Responsibilities for this role include utilizing analytical tools and maintaining respectful relationships.

  • Conducts scheduled audits of dispenses, prescriptions, Medicaid billing, purchases, and TPA setup.
  • Collects data for external and internal audits and manufacturer inquiries.
  • Maintains and organizes lists and data sets for compliance.
  • Utilizes technology to identify and track savings.
  • Identifies prescriptions to determine best contract and retail pharmacy matches and missed opportunities via the TPA.
  • Compiles reports from wholesalers and direct manufacturers to determine total savings.
  • Reviews weekly suspect match/ineligible match of retail pharmacy to ensure pharmacy opportunity.
  • Audits accurate contract pricing and determines best price utilization.
  • Updates and maintains the 340B Dashboard and analytics.
  • Prepares ad hoc reports as requested by Coordinators and Covered Entity.
  • Collaborates with various technology platforms to enhance savings tracking.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Familiarity of desktop applications, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) [Required]
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to a variety of audiences throughout the organization [Required]
• Ability to effectively summarize data, present insights and facilitate discussion of results [Required]
• Initiative to work independently (self-direction) and ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for maximum efficiency and effectiveness [Required]
• Attention to detail that ensures follow-through on all assigned projects [Required]
• Familiar with data mining/extraction tools [Required]
• Knowledge of the 340B program and technology used in the tracking of 340B virtual inventories (i.e. “splitting software”) [Preferred]
• Hospital and Retail Pharmacy workflow and understanding [Preferred]
• Database software knowledge (SQL) [Preferred]
• Business Intelligence knowledge (PowerBI, QlikView, Tableau) [Preferred]

Education:
• Bachelor [Required]

Field of Study:
• in healthcare, accounting, finance or related major

Work Experience:
• 2+ working in pharmacy and/or data analytics [Required]
• 3+ working in pharmacy data analytics [Preferred]
• Pharmacy Technician experience [Preferred]

Additional Information:
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree:

- Bachelor's degree AND 2+ years of related experience OR

- Associate degree AND 4+ years of related experience

Pay Range:

$49,307.53 - $91,705.34
