A Brief Overview

We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator with experience with Windows System Administration, scripting skills and VMWare experience. With some supervision, provides administration and support of Windows systems, VMWare, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Office 365 and other business critical applications.  This is a unique opportunity to contribute extensively to the success of a rapidly growing technology company.  

The Gig:

  • Implementation, support, and daily operation including Windows servers, VMware servers, SAN, infrastructure hardware, Office 365, Microsoft Intune, Azure, AWS and related systems
  • Perform firmware, hardware, and OS upgrades, and required patch management
  • Ensure the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems
  • Develop scripts to automate administrative tasks
  • Creative thinking and proposing solutions to improve business systems
  • Provide support for incidents and requests. Investigate, troubleshoot, remediate and document issues
  • Maintain and contribute to our knowledge base and documentation
  • Participate in On-call rotation
  • May perform other duties as assigned

What you need to make the cut:

  • BS in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of Windows System administration
  • Must have ability to travel to data centers in IA and MN
  • PowerShell scripting
  • 2+ years of VMWare experience
  • Knowledge of Cloud environments including AWS and Azure
  • Knowledge of SAN environments
  • Highly motivated, Innovative, self-directed thinker with an eagerness to stay up to date with current trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment

The pay range for this position is 67K to 90K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data). 

This role is eligible to participate in the bonus incentive plan.
