Requirements:

  • Serve as the central single point of contact for the FlightSense contract, externally to the customer and internally with the aftermarket team (Repair, Technical, Finance, Management).
  • Track overall Customer Support Level (CSL) for the FlightSense contract and all Collins commercial repairs; coordinate site recovery plans as needed to meet CSL requirements.
  • Own the overall Estimate At Completion (EAC) financial performance and ensure adherence to the original business plan; review monthly/quarterly cost data and update forecast model predictions.
  • Lead performance penalty or contractual alignment discussions with the customer and support technical reviews, including service bulletin incorporation and chargeable quote disputes.

Senior Manager, FlightSense Program Management (Hybrid) based in Doha

                   

The Senior Manager, FlightSense™ Program Management owns the execution of the FlightSense™ agreement with the customer and is the main focal both internally and externally.  This includes building and maintaining strong relationships with the customer and ensuring Collins Aerospace delivers to the contractual, financial, and operational performance of the program.

FlightSense™ is a premier repair services business aerospace flight hour programs at Collins focused on supporting our customers with best-in-class performance and a superior customer experience. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Central single point of contact for the contract both externally to the customer and internally with aftermarket team (Repair, Technical, Finance, Management).
  • Track overall Customer Support Level (CSL) to the customer for the FlightSense contract, in addition to all Collins commercial repairs.
  • May include connecting with specific sites to ensure recovery plans executed and are realistic in terms of recovery to CSL requirements.
  • Own the overall Estimate At Completion (EAC) financial performance for adherence to original business plan.
  • Review monthly/quarterly cost data, reliability trends, effects of improvement activities and customer fleet/flying projections to update future forecast model predictions in EAC financial model.
  • Lead any performance penalty or contractual alignment discussions, internally as well as with the customer.
  • Support customer technical review discussions, with guidance from the Collins product owners, to agree on service bulletin incorporation, chargeable quote disputes and other items.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leveraging strong financial acumen and / or experience with financial modeling.
  • Demonstrated track record of conflict / issue resolution on difficult problems.
  • Experience with commercial airframe components

This position may involve access to export-controlled information and hardware where an export license would be required for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
