Requirements:

  • Lead development and delivery of specialized sales training programs and product coaching to enhance sales team capabilities in technical selling, product knowledge, and customer engagement, including expert pre-sales support, product demonstrations, and ongoing client assistance for Vision Care products in Saudi Arabia.
  • Ensure uninterrupted business operations and lead sales support areas like sales training, analytics, and sales operations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for distributor partners, planning and overseeing training projects from ideation through completion.
  • Provide crucial support to Sales and Key Account Management in Sales Administration and Customer Service and develop an effective sales support team through training, coaching, or management of key commercial programs.

This role is part of Alcon's Training & Development function, a team that enhances employee skills, knowledge, and performance to align with the company's strategic goals and help our people and the world see brilliantly. The Manager, Sales Training / Product Coaching leads the development and delivery of specialized sales training programs and product coaching to enhance sales team capabilities in technical selling, product knowledge, and customer engagement. Also, provides expert pre-sales support, product demonstrations, and ongoing client assistance to drive solution adoption and sales success for Vision Care products in Saudi Arabia while based in Jeddah. Specifics include:


• Ensure uninterrupted business operations and lead sales support areas like sales training, analytics, and sales operations
• Provide crucial support to Sales and Key Account Management in Sales Administration and Customer Service
• Develop an effective sales support team through training, coaching, or management of key commercial programs
• Plan, oversee, and lead training projects from ideation through completion for Alcon Distributor partners
• Develop and implement a training program, including sales techniques, product information, and role play

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role

  •  Educational background: Optometrist

  •  Strong optometry knowledge and familiarity with vision care products

  • Adaptable and flexible mindset, able to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders at various levels

  • Training experience in the field would be highly valued

  • Valid driving license and Saudi nationality

  • Excellent communication skills
