  • Experience cooking meals in a lodge/remote or similar setting
  • Ability to prepare meals per pre-planned menus and established meal times
  • Capacity to accommodate dietary restrictions and provide alternatives
  • Knowledge of Maine Health Codes and safe food handling practices

Location: Greenville, Maine

What you’ll be doing at AMC

  • Work independently to prepare all meals and snacks as scheduled and instructed according to pre-planned menus and established meal times.
  • Provide alternatives for guests with dietary restrictions.
  • Meet Maine Health Codes and Standards by always maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, dry-storage, refrigerator, and freezers.
  • Implement energy conservation and environmentally sound practices in daily operations
  • Assist with the set-up, delivery, and clean-up of meal services
  • Assist guests and visitors in a positive manner.
  • Respond to any problems or special requests with a professional demeanor.
  • Interact with guests regarding local information, lodge amenities, organizational efforts and programs.
  • Participate in deep cleaning of the lodge and other areas on a weekly/monthly basis or as instructed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
