Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Lead strategic client interactions across the EMEA region, including quarterly business reviews, client evaluations, and advertising budget confirmations; develop media plans and present to clients; facilitate warm handovers for newly onboarded accounts with the Business Development team
  • Drive revenue growth by crafting senior-level strategies, strengthening relationships with Channel Bakers and clients, and ensuring delivery of campaigns with budgets managed and optimized in collaboration with Account Managers
  • Manage client invoicing in partnership with Finance; maintain up-to-date CRM data; renew SOWs and respond to ad hoc client requests to ensure exceptional client service
  • Develop and mentor team members; identify training needs with Senior Director of EMEA and Learning & Development to design and deliver programs, while contributing to department capabilities and performance objectives

You collaborate closely with a team of talented and passionate Account Managers and Advertising Specialists, and together you deliver the outcomes our clients depend on us for, whatever it takes.

Your role spans across diverse client profiles, and you assume a central role in steering strategic client interactions, including the execution of quarterly business reviews, client evaluations, and the confirmation of advertising budgets. You develop media plans, present to clients and work closely with our Business Development team to facilitate warm handovers of newly onboarded Accounts.

Your relentless pursuit of inventive avenues resonates with your commitment to empower our clients in unlocking their brand's full potential. Leveraging your extensive experience in sales, you adeptly craft strategies to cultivate and strengthen their relationship with Channel Bakers, showcasing your senior-level expertise. Working closely with Account Managers, you ensure that the delivery of your carefully constructed strategy is fully executed with budgets effectively managed and campaigns fully optimized. You partner with our Finance teams to insure accurate and on time client invoicing.

As a dedicated people-focused Account Director, you will empower your peers’ growth by assigning challenging and developmental tasks, facilitating frequent account performance-focused discussions, and serving as a dedicated coach and mentor. Your commitment to candid and constructive communication ensures you provide timely, clear, and actionable feedback to support team members' development.

Additionally, Account Director’s will play a pivotal role in advancing the department's capabilities. This involves collaborating closely with the Senior Director of EMEA to identify training needs and gaps within the team. You will also work in conjunction with the Learning and Development team to design and implement effective training programs, contributing to the ongoing development and success of the department."

Required Qualifications And Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of Marketing or Advertising experience in a fast moving, client facing environment
  • Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or Communications preferred.
  • Experience of Amazon Advertising required and exposure to Demand Side Platform (DSP) and Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience of collaborating with high performing teams and aiding in the developing talented individuals
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytical and qualitative skills - unphased by numerical data, with a mastery that extends beyond numerical figures, delving into the understanding of the "how" and "why" these data points hold significance and impact for our clients.
  • Proficient user of standard office software (MS Office etc.). Intermediate or advanced excel skills are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in strategically driving incremental revenue, cultivating fresh connections, and nurturing and fortifying established relationships at a senior level.
  • Established track record of effective collaboration with the Finance department to ensure precise client invoicing
  • Proven experience in fostering a culture of mentorship and providing steadfast support within high-performing teams
  • Proven track history of driving your own professional and personal development

Everyday Tasks

  • Developing and designing strategy through hard data, customer behavior insights and metrics to drive client sales and brand awareness.
  • Lead client pitches/presentations and manage media plan
  • Focus on growing revenue, selling services and deepening our client’s relationships with Channel Bakers.
  • Participate in recruiting, training, and contributing to the growth of a dynamic team that actively contributes to our clients' success and surpasses their performance objectives
  • Manage CRM and keep client data up to date
  • Responsible for SKAI client questions/emails, and SKAI Automation rules strategy
  • Communicate regularly with clients via calls, email and in person meetings to assess campaign performance and strategy.
  • Developing media plans, overseeing budgets, and campaigns and ensuring quality execution across the board.
  • Responsible for SOW renewal
  • Collaborate with Senior Manager, Advertising and the Learning and Development team to identify business-critical learning opportunities and develop effective training materials and programs for the team
  • Respond promptly to ad hoc client requests and team requests, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to exceptional teamwork and client service
  • Maintain validity of any necessary or mandated platform or partner certifications that are required of your role
  • Work collaboratively with the Finance team to facilitate the organized tracking and prompt settlement of client invoices, maintaining precision and timeliness
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects/client requests and tasks as required
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally within Channel Bakers and other key stakeholders
