  • Experience in CPG, beverage, food distribution, merchandising, or retail operations (strong plus).
  • Familiarity with service routes, field reps, or merchandising workflows.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment; bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Requirements:

  • Build, optimize, and reschedule delivery routes to maximize coverage, including urgent 'hot shot' visits and supervisor one-time routes.
  • Assign tasks to field reps based on visit outcomes and merchandising needs; coordinate and support demo scheduling with retail partners.
  • Analyze stores and routes to identify underperformers: flag stores for potential deactivation or improvement; recommend new stores to strengthen weak routes.
  • Coordinate demos (food samplers), ensure on-time delivery with retailer buyers, and adjust schedules based on supervisor input and visit reports.

Requirements

Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Operations

-Optimize Routes: 

  • Build or optimize delivery routes based on store hours, geography, and route capacity.

-Reschedules: 

  • Reassign visits when reps are unavailable to maintain consistent coverage.
  • Schedule urgent “Hot Shot” visits into routes with minimal disruption.

-Create one-time special routes for supervisors to:

  • Resolve stores with execution issues.
  • Visit potential new retail accounts to strengthen underutilized routes.

-Tasks for Reps: 

  • Assign tasks to field reps based on visit outcomes and merchandising needs.

Route & Stores Analysis

-Reports Analysis: 

  • Stores: Flag low-performing stores for potential deactivation or to improve product execution
  • Routes: Recommend new stores for weak routes.

Demo Operations

-Food Samplers Coordination: 

  • Schedule, update, and coordinate demo events based on supervisor input and visits reports.
  • Work with retailer corporate buyers to ensure demo product arrives on time.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and route-planning ability.
  • Excellent time-management and prioritization under changing conditions.
  • Proficiency with route optimization tools, mapping platforms, and scheduling systems.
  • Ability to interpret data, store reports, and photo evidence to drive decisions.
  • Clear communication skills with field teams, supervisors, and retail partners.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to react fast to operational disruptions.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when planning routes or coordinating demos.

Experience We're Looking For

  • 2+ years in route planning, DSD operations, logistics coordination, field operations, or similar.
  • Experience in CPG, beverage, food distribution, merchandising, or retail operations is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with service routes, field reps, or merchandising workflows.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred.
