As an IT Systems & Platform Administrator, you will take ownership of the internal technology environment powering a fast-growing consumer brand operating in the functional beverage space. The organization runs on a decentralized SaaS ecosystem supporting ecommerce, marketing, operations, and internal collaboration, with multiple historical vendors contributing to a fragmented infrastructure landscape.

In this role, you will audit, secure, and optimize the company’s platform environment while establishing scalable governance across systems, access management, integrations, and backend configurations. Your work will ensure that the company’s internal technology infrastructure remains stable, secure, and ready to support continued growth.

Accountability

Your success as an IT Systems & Platform Administrator will be defined by the stability, security, and clarity you bring to the company’s internal technology ecosystem. You will centralize ownership across platforms, eliminate configuration risk, and build scalable governance that enables teams to operate confidently and securely.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

Google Workspace Administration & Security

  • Own end-to-end administration of the Google Workspace environment, including users, groups, shared drives, and security configurations.
  • Design and maintain role-based access controls and permission structures across the organization.
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts, suspicious activity, and phishing threats.
  • Resolve administrative issues within the Google Admin Console and maintain overall system health.

Google Workspace Administration & Security

  • Audit the company’s SaaS platform landscape and establish standardized governance across tools.
  • Redesign access structures to ensure secure, role-based permissions across internal platforms.
  • Manage administrative ownership, authentication controls, and platform lifecycle management.
  • Implement best practices for platform configuration, security, and operational reliability.

Domain, DNS & Backend Configuration Management

  • Manage domain infrastructure, DNS records, and hosting configurations across company properties.
  • Maintain TXT, MX, verification, and other DNS records required for operational services.
  • Troubleshoot domain-level issues impacting email, authentication, integrations, or platform connectivity.
  • Ensure reliable backend configuration across the company’s digital infrastructure

Technical Troubleshooting & Platform Remediation

  • Serve as the escalation point for complex internal IT and platform configuration issues.
  • Identify and resolve misconfigurations across SaaS tools, integrations, and infrastructure components.
  • Clean up legacy configurations created by prior vendors and historical implementations.
  • Coordinate with external agencies or vendors when specialized implementation work is required.

Infrastructure Documentation & Operational Continuity

  • Develop clear documentation across systems, configurations, platform ownership, and architecture.
  • Establish operational standards for system administration, access governance, and infrastructure management.
  • Ensure technical environments remain understandable, maintainable, and scalable as the organization grows.
  • Build a documentation-first culture that supports long-term infrastructure stability.

Colleagues

You will work closely with the client’s leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure their technology environment supports daily operations, security, and growth.

Within Oceans, you’ll receive guidance from your Operations Manager to support delivery excellence, professional growth, and long-term success in the role.

Skills & Qualifications

At Oceans, we believe in T-shaped individuals—those who bring deep expertise in one area paired with broad curiosity across the business.
