Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Para Broker a dynamic team, an established Australian mortgage broking company. As a Para Broker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our brokers in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the preparation and management of mortgage applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with lending guidelines. You will also liaise with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth processing from application through to settlement.

You will play a critical role in supporting brokers with credit analysis, lender selection and loan structuring. This role goes beyond administrative support and requires strong understanding of lender policy, servicing calculators and credit appetite to assist in delivering high-quality, compliant loan submissions.

You will assess client scenarios, identify suitable lender options and help structure applications strategically to maximise approval outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist brokers in reviewing and preparing loan applications

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files
  • Communicate with lenders to monitor application status and expedite approvals
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide timely updates on application progress
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Support the team with administrative tasks related to loan processing as required
  • Assess client scenarios to filter for the most suitable lender options based on policy, servicing and loan structure

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • Understanding of Australian mortgage processes and lender requirements is desirable
