What You Will Be Doing

Design, build, and scale distributed backend systems to support financial and mission-critical workloads.
Develop and maintain high-quality, clean, and secure Ruby code, ensuring reliability and long-term maintainability.
Work with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and apply solid principles of data modeling, transactional consistency, and high-throughput architectures.
Leverage NoSQL and caching solutions to optimize performance and scalability.
Collaborate closely with Product, Finance, Risk, and Platform teams to deliver impactful, business-driven solutions.
Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and best practice initiatives.

You are a good match if you have

5+ years of backend engineering experience, with proven ability to build and scale distributed systems.
Deep expertise in data modeling, transaction management, and system performance optimization.
Strong hands-on experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with NoSQL and caching technologies.
Excellent coding skills in Ruby, following best practices for code clarity, maintainability, and security.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams.
