Job Description:

Baptist Health is looking for a Manager, Provider Enrollment to join our team! This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN

The Provider Enrollment Manager is responsible for leading and managing the centralized provider enrollment function within the Credentialing Verification Department. This role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant enrollment of providers with all applicable payors, supports smooth onboarding, and serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, payors, and providers. The Manager oversees staff, policies, and processes to maintain operational excellence, reduce risk, and enhance the provider experience. This position is remote, requiring reliable internet access, professional workspace, and strong self-management skills.

Essential Duties:

  • Direct oversight of provider enrollment process for all employed and contracted providers.
  • Ensure timely submission, follow-up, and completion of enrollment applications with payors.
  • Ensure timely submission, follow-up, and completion of credentialing (primary source verification) for non-hospital employed providers.
  • Maintain compliance with payor requirements and state/federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in provider enrollment or credentialing.

  • At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.

  • Experience in a multi-hospital system or large medical group setting.

  • Experience with enrollment/credentialing software.
