Roles & Responsibilities

  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in SaaS, product, or instructional content
  • Strong expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, including motion graphics, plugins, and workflow planning
  • Proven experience with color correction and grading (S-Log / Log footage) and working with large, high-resolution files
  • Experience with AI voiceovers (e.g., ElevenLabs), strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, and ability to deliver high-quality outputs from ingest to final delivery

  • Edit instructional, installation, walkthrough, and product videos for the Help Center, Marketing, and internal teams
  • Assemble raw footage, screen recordings, voiceovers, and stock assets into polished, high-quality videos with motion graphics, annotations, and timestamps
  • Perform color correction and grading (including Log/S-Log footage) and enhance audio with music, sound effects, and AI voiceovers
  • Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and content best practices

About the Role: 

As a Video Editor at Motive, you will play a key role in creating high-quality instructional, product, and marketing videos that enhance user understanding and brand communication. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to edit and produce engaging visual content, combining footage, motion graphics, and sound design into polished final outputs. This role requires strong technical expertise in editing tools, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining creative and brand consistency.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Edit instructional, installation, walkthrough, and product videos for the Help Center, Marketing, and internal teams
  • Assemble raw footage, screen recordings, voiceovers, and stock assets into polished, high-quality videos with motion graphics, annotations, and timestamps
  • Perform color correction and grading (including Log/S-Log footage) and enhance audio with music, sound effects, and AI voiceovers
  • Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and content best practices
  • Collaborate with Video Producers and stakeholders on scripts, storyboards, feedback, and revisions to maintain accuracy and quality
  • Manage multiple projects and localization/versioning workflows (e.g., Spanish versions), maintaining organized files and structured production processes

 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in SaaS, product, or instructional content
  • Strong expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, including motion graphics, plugins, and workflow planning
  • Proven experience with color correction and grading (S-Log / Log footage) and working with large, high-resolution files
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, and Figma for design and audio tasks
  • Skilled in editing screen-recorded and product-focused videos, writing/refining scripts, and maintaining high accuracy in instructional content
  • Experience with AI voiceovers (e.g., ElevenLabs), strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, and ability to deliver high-quality outputs from ingest to final delivery
  • Fluent in English; Spanish or French proficiency is a plus.
