Roles & Responsibilities

10–15 years of experience in roles such as System Administration, Cloud Platform Engineering, or Cloud Architecture.
Strong expertise in Azure Compute Services (App Services, Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets) and Azure Management/Governance (Azure Advisor, Backup, Policy, Resource Tagging, Cost Management tools).
Extensive experience with Azure networking (Hybrid connectivity, Virtual WAN, Virtual Networks and Subnets, Site-to-Site VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Private Link, Traffic Manager) and Azure Storage (Disk Storage, Blob Storage, Files), plus IaC tools (ARM templates, Terraform).
Migration experience (Azure Site Recovery, Azure Migrate) and designing high-availability/disaster-recovery architectures with defined RTO/RPO; knowledge of ISO 27001 and CIS Benchmarks, security/compliance controls, monitoring, and architecture documentation.

Requirements:

Design and architect Azure-based platforms and hybrid cloud environments across compute, storage, networking, governance, and secure workload placement.
Lead and execute migration strategies such as lift-and-shift, re-architecting, and end-to-end modernization.
Define and enforce security, governance, cost-management, and reliability using Azure Well-Architected Framework and Landing Zone architectures.
Create and maintain architecture documentation, topology diagrams, configuration standards, HA/DR designs, and ensure RTO/RPO alignment and compliance readiness.

The Cloud Solution Architect is responsible for designing, building, and evolving the organization’s cloud infrastructure, primarily on the Microsoft Azure platform. Experience with additional cloud providers such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform is considered an advantage.

This role focuses on creating secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud environments by leveraging Azure Well-Architected Framework guidelines and Landing Zone architectures. The architect is expected to work across all core cloud pillars including compute, networking, storage, governance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect Azure‑based platforms and hybrid cloud environments, covering compute, storage, networking, governance, and secure workload placement across private and public cloud components.

Execute migration strategies such as lift‑and‑shift, re‑architecting, and end‑to‑end modernization.

Qualifications:

10–15 years of experience in roles such as System Administration, Cloud Platform Engineering, or Cloud Architecture.

Strong knowledge of Azure Compute Services, including: Azure App Services, Virtual Machines, VM Scale Sets

Proven experience with Azure Management and Governance capabilities, such as:

Azure Advisor
Azure Backup
Azure Policy
Resource Tagging
Cost Management tools (Savings Plans, CRG, etc.)

Advanced expertise in Azure networking services, including:

Hybrid connectivity architectures
Virtual WAN
Virtual Networks and Subnets
Site-to-Site VPN Gateways

Application Gateway
Private Link
Traffic Manager

Strong experience with Azure storage services, including:

Azure Disk Storage

Hands-on experience with cloud migration tools, such as:

or other third-party migration platforms

Practical knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools including:

ARM templates
Terraform

Ability to design and maintain high availability and disaster recovery architectures, aligned with defined RTO/RPO requirements.

Experience implementing security and compliance controls aligned with ISO 27001 standards and CIS Benchmarks (Level 1–2), including audit evidence preparation and remediation management.

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools used in hybrid-cloud infrastructures.

Strong capability in technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, topology documentation, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
