Job description

Workstate seeks a Mid-level Native Android Developer to join our talented team! If your passion lies in creating high-quality mobile applications and your goal is to foster collaborative teamwork and continuous learning, you'll thrive at Workstate.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust and efficient Android applications using Java and Kotlin. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features while ensuring code quality and performance.

This is a full-time remote position available to residents of Colombia and Argentina with the legal right to work there.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the following areas:

  • 3-5 years of professional Android development experience with a strong focus on Java and Kotlin
  • Deep understanding of Android app architecture, design patterns, and UI/UX principles
  • Proficiency in developing applications using Android SDK, Android Studio, and related frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • B2 level (upper-intermediate) or higher English language competency with ability to communicate effectively in professional settings, both written and verbal.
