Roles & Responsibilities

6+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in GoLang and its frameworks, with hands-on experience in AWS services (RKS, MSK, EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway)
Knowledge of microservices architecture and familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

Job description

Workstate seeks a GoLang AWS Developer to join our team! In this exciting role, you will develop and manage cloud-based applications using Go and AWS technologies. If you are passionate about building scalable and efficient applications while delivering exceptional value to our clients, you'll fit right in at Workstate.

We aim to engage consultants who can motivate and galvanize our clients, while diving deeply into the work at hand and envisioning future projects. Our consultants are skilled decision-makers, committed to championing client visions and driving quality results.

This position is a full-time, remote opportunity, available to people residing in Colombia.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of professional experience and have demonstrated some of the following skills professionally, but not necessarily all:

Proficient in GoLang and its frameworks
Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., RKS, MSK, EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway)
Knowledge of microservices architecture
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Kafka and/or other messaging and queueing frameworks
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development
Experience working within an Agile team environment
B2 level (upper-intermediate) or higher English language competency with ability to communicate effectively in professional settings, both written and verbal.
