Motion Designer

This is a remote position.

Currently, we are looking for a Motion Designer / Motion Graphics Specialist for our key client, a Berlin-based social-first marketing agency that helps brands grow through high-quality content, campaign creatives, and performance-driven marketing. The team focuses on producing engaging video content for social media and commercial projects while maintaining structured workflows and strong collaboration across production and post-production.

This role is designed as general production support across multiple client projects. You’ll jump in where needed across edits, animations, content formats, and campaign assets depending on the project. Projects vary by industry and style, but the main goal remains the same: delivering consistent, high-quality output and reliable collaboration with the team.

You will work closely with the core team and video editors, often receiving finished or partially edited footage and enhancing it with motion elements that improve engagement and visual quality.

Your Duties:

As a Motion Designer, you will be responsible for:

• Adding animations and motion graphics to edited videos to enhance engagement and viewer retention.
  

• Working primarily with commercial and corporate video content, making it more dynamic and visually appealing.
  

• Integrating text animations, lower thirds, transitions, and graphic overlays into video projects.
  

• Collaborating with the video editing team and working with footage prepared in DaVinci Resolve.
  

• Following brand guidelines and creative direction for each project.
  

• Contributing ideas for motion concepts that improve overall content quality.
  

• Delivering organized project files and assets for efficient workflows and handoffs..
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in motion design or motion graphics.
  
• Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects; experience with Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus.
  
• Ability to work with video files exported from DaVinci Resolve and integrate animations seamlessly.
  
• Solid understanding of animation principles, timing, and visual storytelling.
  
• Experience adding motion graphics to commercial or corporate video content.
  
• Good eye for improving viewer retention through dynamic visual elements.
  
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus.
  
• Reliable, self-organized, and comfortable working from clear briefs and deadlines.
  
• Portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant motion design work is required
