We are currently searching for a Power BI / Data Engineer:
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports following industry best practices.
- Build and optimize complex data models to ensure high performance and reusability.
- Develop complex DAX measures and calculated columns for dynamic, high-impact visualizations.
- Integrate diverse data sources, including SQL Server and various cloud-based APIs.
- Provide immediate troubleshooting for SSIS packages to ensure data loads are completed without delay.
- Monitor Azure Data Factory (ADF) jobs, reporting and escalating failures to the appropriate teams.
- Execute Data Quality (DQ) processes, identifying gaps and managing data deletion/cleanup.
- Perform deep-dive SQL debugging of complex stored procedures (SPs).
- Manage code deployments by raising Pull Requests (PRs) within a DevOps environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a focus on DAX and Data Modeling.
- Strong technical background in Data Engineering tools, specifically SSIS and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Expert-level SQL skills for debugging and optimizing stored procedures.
- Experience connecting to and transforming data from SQL Server and APIs.
- Familiarity with DevOps workflows and version control (raising/reviewing PRs).
- Ability to handle urgent troubleshooting for data pipeline failures.
Desired:
- Experience in the Healthcare industry (Alignment Healthcare context).
- Knowledge of Azure Synapse or other cloud data warehouse technologies.
Languages
- Advanced Oral English.
- Native Spanish.
