The Course & Event Manager Americas (GC Orthodontics America) is responsible for the execution and delivery of clinical education programs - including hands-on courses, congresses, and events - across North and South America.


The role ensures that all educational initiatives are implemented efficiently, aligned with global and regional strategy, and tailored to local market needs. A key focus is on supporting universities, strengthening relationships with professors and academic institutions, and partnering closely with the Sales and Marketing teams.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage clinical education programs across the Americas (courses, congresses, workshops, and events), ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Education Professional Manager Global/Regional to align execution with strategy and standards.
  • Coordinate logistical and operational aspects of events, including venues, equipment, materials, faculty scheduling, and participant communication.
  • Work with Sales teams in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America to understand customer needs and identify training opportunities for traditional orthodontics and MovAligners.
  • Customize course agendas and content to meet regional clinical trends and business priorities.
  • Build and manage relationships with universities, professors, and academic partners.
  • Maintain strong connections with key customers and leverage networks to support educational reach.
  • Manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and clinical faculty.
  • Monitor and report program effectiveness and integrate feedback.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, and Education teams.
  • Create and manage purchase orders (POs) and support vendor onboarding.
  • Track event expenses and ensure program budgets are met.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regional regulatory requirements.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4–6 years of experience in clinical education, healthcare training, event management, or medical device/pharma industries.
  • Proven experience managing clinical courses, workshops, and congresses (in-person and virtual).
  • Strong experience working with healthcare professionals, universities, and KOLs.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams.
  • Knowledge of clinical environments and training needs in the Americas region.
  • Experience managing budgets and purchase order workflows.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with CRM systems, event management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
