  • Three to five years of internal or external life insurance wholesaling experience at the carrier level, preferably within a broker-dealer or wire house environment.
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 and state life and health licenses are required.

Requirements:

  • Provide external wholesaling support to a select group of distributors, with a primary focus on the wire house and Independent Broker Dealer markets, and drive aggressive premium growth in the designated territory.
  • Manage all aspects of the carrier and distributor relationship, including sales, marketing, and pending case advocacy.
  • Travel substantially (minimum 50% overnight) and maintain significant virtual engagement with distributors while managing accounts across TX, OK, MT, WY, CO, NM, ID, UT, AZ, WA, OR, NV, CA, AK, and HI.
  • Report to the National Sales Director and execute territory sales plans to achieve aggressive targets.

Position Overview
Reporting directly to the National Sales Director, the Regional Vice President (VP) is responsible for providing external wholesaling support to a select group of distributors, with a primary focus on the wire house and Independent Broker Dealer market. The Regional VP will be held accountable for achieving aggressive premium growth targets within their designated territory. Additionally, this role entails comprehensive management of all aspects of the carrier and distributor relationship, including sales, marketing, pending case advocacy, and other related responsibilities. The position requires substantial overnight travel, with a minimum expectation of 50%, and significant virtual engagement with distributors.
This position is responsible for managing specific accounts across the following states: Texas (TX), Oklahoma (OK), Montana (MT), Wyoming (WY), Colorado (CO), New Mexico (NM), Idaho (ID), Utah (UT), Arizona (AZ), Washington (WA), Oregon (OR), Nevada (NV), California (CA), Alaska (AK), and Hawaii (HI).
Candidate must live in the territory.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
•Superior sales abilities and strong relationship-building capabilities.
•Three to five years of internal or external life insurance wholesaling experience at the carrier level, preferably within a broker dealer or wire house environment. Successful point-of-sale experience is highly desirable.
•Extensive understanding of life insurance products, associated sales concepts, and case design.
•Sound technical literacy, including a basic understanding of illustration software, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is considered a plus.
•FINRA Series 6 or 7 and state life and health licenses are required.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Credentials
•CLU, ChFC, or CFP professional designations are highly desired.
