Business Controller (Hybrid)

In this role , you will be reviewing all of the financial reporting requirements and accounting practices of BCD Travel or a specific region. Establishes financial plans, policies and procedures to ensure that the assets of the company are secure, expenditures are properly outlined and contractual obligations are properly paid.
As a Business Controller, you will
Provide oversight of and strategic direction to the functional areas of the reporting area
Manage the Finance Department, including but not limited to, the general accounting, payroll, and Airline Reporting Corporation (ARC) functions.
Review monthly consolidated and branch financial statements, including financial projections and variance analysis.
Manage personnel including hiring, counseling, scheduling, terminating, training, motivating and evaluating.
Provide for the proper staffing and servicing of all operations within responsibility. Builds a team capable of carrying out objectives.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field
Relavent years of experience in Finance/Accounting role
Proficiency with ERPs and MS-office required
Proficiency in SAP / R3 FI & CO preferred
An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
